Cookies

Cookies are a very nice thing to have at your disposal when you are creating a website. You can use them to store some information, like if the user is registered, his status, password, ID, location, in fact, you could store just about anything, but why are cookies actually the little troublemakers?

If you are living in America and you travel to some beautiful locations all around the world, you may find your accounts being frozen as soon as you log in from some African country. Unfortunately that is what they are faced every day, as well as anybody that lives there or is just visiting.

Even if you know about VPN or just find out and start using it, it is these cookies that will still give away that you are that person that was just in Africa. This is not as bad for many websites, but dating websites – they will certainly still be blocking you.

Now, most of the time, clearing cookies might not help, as they could be blocking your account and you should contact them explaining that you were just traveling abroad, but if you do not care about creating a new account or not, then clearing cookies is the first step to go to.

How to clear the cookies..Just click on the icon that represents the browser you are interested in..

Our suggestion for best privacy would be to select the same options as they are selected on the picture as that way you will still know what you have searched for, downloaded or entered on various forms allowing you to protect your privacy and be able to quickly access the website that you visited few days ago and have not bookmarked.

After the selection is done, just click on Clear NowClear browsing dataDelete button.

Since there are no users that came to our blog using Opera or Safari we have not yet created the tutorial for them, but if you would like us to show you how it is done for these or some other browsers as well then please leave a comment with the name of the browser and we will add it next to these most popular ones.

Thank you for reading this article and we hope that you have liked it and tell us, did it help you with what you wanted to do? Is your version of Firefox, Chrome, Chromium or Internet Explorer without this option, or you are not able to get to it? Leave a response and let us know you while we solve your problem :)
