Having an internet connection is not without its good sides and its bad sides. Often, even without us realizing it, we are faced with someone looking over our shoulders to see what we are doing, following and learning our steps just for some gain that you can not charge.
In many countries this is something very common for people to be observed by their ISP (Internet Service Providers) and very often you would find that you are either not able to go to some website or can even be redirected to some other, ‘filtered’ place.
Your ISP can see without any problems what web addresses you are visiting, how long are you staying on the website and all the data transactions that you have with that websites and most often, this data includes credit card information, usernames, ID’s and passwords as many websites do not offer to you any type of proper protection, but have all the details transmitted over plain text that is easy to read.
Well it is not such a dark place if you know what to look for, how to protect your privacy and how to limit what they could discover. One of the ways to do that is by using proxy servers. They are good, but only to protect you from the online world to some extent. What you need in order to protect your data and yourself is something much stronger, something like a VPN connection.
VPN or Virtual Private Network is the best thing for anyone that wants to hide what they are doing from their ISP, change their IP and access blocked websites that they are usually not able to. So how much do they know with VPN turned on? - The shortest answer is nothing.
The beauty of the VPN connection is that it is not showing what you are doing to your ISP. All that they can see is that you are accessing some IP over a highly secured tunneling protocols that hide the data you are exchanging with that IP – a VPN server. In the same time you can visit any website, see anything and access anything you would like just like you would normally do with your own connection.
This means that you do not need to suffer and adjust your everyday work habits to some new way of doing things and instead all you have to do is to get connected to your VPN package as soon as you need it and use your favorite web browser and any other application that uses internet connection just as you would usually use.
So why should you stay under the watchful eyes of your ISP blocking some of your desires and limiting to what you can see, read or do when there is a simple way to unlock the internet and surf the only way you would want it, free from chains.
